Lifetime has ordered two additional episodes of its new limited series “The Lizzie Borden Chronicles,” with Christina Ricci returning as the notorious murder suspect and Clea DuVall (“Argo”) reprising her role as Lizzie’s sister, Emma.
“The Lizzie Borden Chronicles” from Sony Pictures Television, which debuts in April, will follow the actual events and people surrounding Lizzie’s life after her controversial acquittal of the double murder of her father and stepmother in 1892, when the exonerated figure lived a life of newfound celebrity filled with scandalous love affairs. The cast includes Andrew Howard (“Hatfields & McCoys”), Cole Hauser (“Good Will Hunting”), Jessy Schram (“Falling Skies”) and John Heard (“The Sopranos”).
